Ladies we are nest builders! I remember a time in my life when God was dealing with me a lot about building my house and building a nest for my children. Proverbs 14:1 Talks about how a wise woman builds her house but foolish woman tears it down with her own hands. Building our house may look different for each one of us, nevertheless we are the builders. When I personally think about building a house, I imagine it first having a strong Foundation. A strong foundation to me looks like family values, morals, our faith, what we as a family stand on. Then I imagine the atmosphere of the home, the environment, and what we surround ourselves with. Lastly I think about the individuals in the home our character, who we are. I want to share with you how I strive to build my home and the things that I like to do to strengthen it.
1.Create an atmosphere of unity, love, acceptance and encouragement, although it’s difficult to get these kids on the same page and finally put a end to the sibling rivalry forever. It is my goal to make sure they stick together love each other be there for one another, and treat each other with kindness and respect. We are striving to be more encouraging and motivating rather them critical of one another.
2.I share my beliefs with my children to build up thier character. I talk to them about Christ, faith, their future, college, marriage and life in general. Even at a young ages I talk about it in a way they can understand. I do my best to teach them right from wrong according to the word of God and live by example, a life that glorifies God.
3.I like to make home a comfy place to relax, chill and enjoy for everyone. I like to decorate each room to make it feel inviting. I also love to customize my kids bedroom and give them a little space of their own filled with things they enjoy. Ultimately I want my family to look forward to coming home. So I try to create a space they will enjoy. We also like to have family movie night and game night to just enjoy each other’s company.
These are the thing i am constantly tweecking to build a strong household.
How are you building your home?

GET A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE SCRIPTURES BY TRYING THESE 5 BIBLE STUDY TIPS DURING YOUR STUDY TIME IN THE WORD. EACH OF THEM HAS TRULY HELPED ME TO UNDERSTAND THE SCRIPTURES AND I BELIEVE IT WILL HELP YOU TOO!
Our lives as believers is like a race. Each of us are given a different course that we’re called to run. Sometimes we get thrown off that course, we experience setbacks and delays but we can be encouraged because it is all apart of God purpose. Your race may not look like my race and my race may not look like your race. Although, we are one body of believers serving the Lords purpose. We are created uniquely different. We’ve been given a different word from God that by faith we must stand on.
For Abraham and Sarah it was the birth of a Son in their old age, For Noah it was to
build the ark on a dry land, For Moses it was to lead the children of Israel out of Egypt and the oppression of pharaoh. We were all given a different purpose and in that we are faced with different obstacles. Just like them we must run with
endurance the race that God has set before us according to Hebrews 12:1-2
I want to take a moment to break down this scripture because it explains just that, how we endure! The full version is below
So lets get started it says…
There are weights in our life we have to lay aside! weights mean distractions and hindrances that slows us down. Weights can also be in the form of discouragement, negativity, condemnation, stress, fear, worry, etc. All these things that weigh you down released it and lay it aside and
Another word for ensnares is trap. The devil is constantly working overtime to set up traps for us. He’s seeking to get us entangled or stuck in sin, but the scripture says 2 Corinthians 2:11 that we are not ignorant to satin devices. The weight of sin is heavy so lay it aside!
Run with endurance, not stopping, never giving up, through the hard times, in the difficulties, Run! And next is my favorite it,verse 2 says
Keeping our eyes on Jesus! Stay focus on Jesus and don’t let anything distract you from his purpose. Look to him as your example and not to people. Then it says for he is
He wrote our life courses and is the one who leads us to the finish line.
it goes on to say
Our salvation, our victories and the destruction of the works of darkness against us, was the Joy the was set before him. For us he endured the cross .
It is finished. He is our Lord and Savior on the Throne. We overcome because He overcame. Its a fix fight! Be encouraged because we win!

Is there anything that is holding you back from God?
What do you need to lay aside today to follow him?
One thing I have learned and still in the process of learning is seasons. In life we go through different types of seasons. Seasons to grab hold of something without letting go and season to let go and let God. One of the hardest seasons for me to recognize is when to let go of a fight and give my battle to the lord! See I am a natural born fighter. I’m a warrior woman, I go hard, I don’t give up, I give it my all and I fight to the end, spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. Now I know you are thinking that’s great!! Don’t get me wrong I think it is a good quality to have however, there is a season to war and a season to Be still and know that God is God.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 says To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven! Then it goes on to say there is a time to cry and a time to laugh , a time to hold on and a time to let go, a time to build and a time to tear down, a time to war and a time of peace. I have learned that the Lord deals with us in every season we go through. He deals with us according to what we need in that season. Being a fighter I find it difficult at times when the lord is telling me to Be still, Wait, let me fight this battle! The fighter in me wants to get busy, aggressively fix things, work things out, solve the problems, and basically get in gods way making the problem worst! Lol but what I learned is anytime we try to stand in your own human strength and rely on your own abilities we come up dry and empty. God is in control, sometimes the greatest fight we can give, is to let go and let God. As much as I would like to fix things in my life and change people to be what I would like them to be. I can’t, everything and everyone has their seasons. This is when trusting God really comes in! When we can’t change it, when it’s out of our control when we literally exhausted ourselves trying, can we still trust God and let it go? He’s teaching us something through these seasons, he’s drawing us closer, he’s building character in us.
So I want to encourage you to tune in to what God is doing in your life. Let go and let God! Take time to pray for direction, clarity, wisdom! letting go is not always easy but unless the lord builds the house we labour in vain. Psalms 127:1
Remember everything has a purpose, we can grow, we can get better and we can learn through every difficult season.
Trust in the lord with all of your heart and lean not to your own understanding. Im learning to stand still, release some things and let God be God, and I can honestly say it’s a blessing. He’s a much better fighter than I am!
I hope this story shed a little light on knowing your season and learn
Hello everyone just sharing a quick tip on what I have learned about relationships. hope you enjoy
You are enough! Stay true to yourself and give others the opportunity to love you for you. Not love you for who you want them to think you are or who they want you to be, but love you for who God has created you to be. The scripture says in genesis 1:27 that we were created in the image of God and in his likeness. Everything good about you reflects him; your strengths, your creativity, your intelligence, your wisdom, your sensitivity to others, your caring heart, your giving heart, they are all a reflection of God. There is Something so illuminating about a genuine, authentic person. There lights shine! You want people in your life who will embrace you as you are. Appreciate your God given abilities and help you grow and mature. So be genuine and stay true to yourself. Don’t allow anyone to make you feel less than or not good enough. Don’t compromise what you believe and what you stand for. Show your personality and let your light shine! You will be so much happier just being you! You were fearfully and wonderfully made!
So stay true to yourself and give others the opportunity to love you for who you are!
I really hope that this post has inspired you and encouraged you to look deeper into yourself! Why being you is so important to all of us!

Quality time with the family is different than just being in the same room together. It is actually engaging in conversations, laughing, connecting and bonding with each other. In this day and age most of us are extremely busy. We are pulled in so many different directions ( facebook, social media, online games, videos and etc). The majority of our free time is spent with our heads down into our phones. Even our kids are preoccupied with online games. Quality time with the family is almost non existent. So I came up with a few easy ways to spend quality time on a day to day basis that helps me plan time with my family.
First things first, be intentional about your time. Chances are, if you don’t purposely scheduled in your planner or to do list specific times to spend with your family, you will easily overlook it. So write it down! You can schedule play dates, date nights, family movie nights or whatever activities you normally do with your family. Just Schedule Them!! Using a planner helps me to keep myself accountable. Everyday when I look into my planner it reminds me of my true priorities and the things that are most important to me.
Secondly, add some value to your everyday activities by incorporating the family; include your kids in your house work, do the laundry together, wash dishes together, cook dinner together! I know sometimes they get in the way, make a huge mess or just don’t know what they are doing. However, with patience you can use these opportunities to teach your childeren new skills, Which adds value to an simple activity and can applied in their future endeavors. So its definitely worth a try.
and Last but not least, create routines in your life that everyone does together. Routines are actions you would normally take Everyday during a specific time. (For example a morning routine can include brushing your teeth and eating breakfast). Began to use this time to engage in conversations with your family. Think of routines you can do together. Start a family devotion, pray together, have a bath time routine and or bedtime routine. Once you have a solid routine just be intentional about communicating and being present in the moment. Enjoy the simple things and memorable moments. You will surely be grateful you did!!
I hope these tips really helped you find quality time to spend with your family.

Distractions are everywhere, we are constantly pulled in many different areas and are bombarded daily with random thoughts and ideas that often times hinder us from accomplishing our goals. Being more intentional about your life and goals is really about discipline, setting yourself up mentally and physically in the direction of your goals. Creating a outline or plan to follow on purpose that will help you to intentionally stay focused. Below are 5 ways you can start to be more intentional about your Life. Try to incorporate these few tips into your life and stay focus on the way to accomplishing your dreams.
This helps you to see your vision and will give you direction about where you want to go or what you want to accomplish with your life. Write down your career goals, family goals, spiritual goals, whatever place you want to be in your life. Start to write down your thoughts.
Actions Steps are practical things that you can do and plan to do to help you reach your goals. For example if your goal is to save money for the year, a action step may be to open a savings account or setup a $20 automatic weekly transfers to your savings account. Actions Steps can be a number of things you may need to do to accomplish your overall goals.
Start planning things out. plan your weeks, plan your months, plan your days, having a planner keeps you on task and it is a great way to track your progress. Began to plug those action steps into your days, weeks and months and commit to completing them.
” Plan Your Days And Work Your Plan”
This will very depending on what goals your looking to accomplish. Committing to do one small task daily will ultimately bring you closer to your goals, It is 1 step further from your action steps. Now each day you going to pick somthing small you can do, it may seem insignificant but it will bring you one step closer to your goals, it could be to encourage someone, respond to emails, pray, read etc.
We truly need God in every thing that we do. There will be times of discouragement, days where we loose focus or just don’t feel like doing anything. During those times we need Jesus to help us stay focused on our vision and encouraged. Prayer and discipline is key!
